• Marjane Satrapi – creator of the revolutionary “Persepolis”
  • Melinda Gebbie – an artist of subtle, yet synergistic talent. Her work in “Lost Girls” (which took 16 years to create!) partnered with Alan Moore’s writing, gives us a world of myth, sex, history & provocation that will stand the test of time
  • Lise Myhre – a Norwegian artist, her “Nemi” character has been loved (& translated) the world over – for longer then some fans have been alive
  • Debbie Drechsler – gave us a “coming of age” story we can ALL relate to – no matter the reader’s: gender, era, or age in “The Summer Of Love”
  • Sarah Byam –  talented writer of the sharp as hell “Billi99” has, (unfortunately for us fan grrls/bois), left us little else to devour
